We store what you type into a sheet: names, emails, notes, and the slots you picked. That’s it. No accounts, no ad tracking. We count page views and a few anonymous actions, like starting a sheet or printing a poster, with Vercel’s cookieless analytics. It doesn’t identify you and never sees what you type.

The only cookies are for organizers. When an organizer opens a link from one of our emails, their browser gets a cookie so it remembers them: which email it’s signed in as, and which sheets it can manage. It holds a random code, nothing else, lasts a year from their last visit, and goes away when they sign out. People signing up never get one.

Emails go out for confirmations, one reminder the day before, and notices to the organizer. Nothing else. Every email to a signer includes the link to cancel.

Organizers see the name, email, and note of everyone on their sheet. The public sheet shows first names and last initials only. If a sheet asks everyone to write something in (like what they’re bringing), those answers show on the public sheet too.

If an organizer turns on a public page, it shows the page name, display name, and blurb they chose, plus their upcoming sheets marked to show there. Sheets and public pages are hidden from search engines.

Sheets and everything on them are deleted 90 days after the event date. Unconfirmed sheets are deleted after 48 hours. Links to an organizer’s sheets expire after 7 days; get a fresh one anytime from “Are you an organizer? Get a link to all your sheets” on the homepage or any sheet. Public-page settings are deleted after a year with no sheets. Templates an organizer saves keep a sheet’s title, details, and slots, never dates or signups, until the organizer deletes them.
